AuVitronics Limited (or AVT as it is commonly referred) was established as a public limited company by House of Habib in July 1983. AVT is the pioneer in using modern technology for the production of audio/video cassettes in Pakistan. It is also the industry leader.
AVT enters the next century by diversifying into plastic moulding parts and sub-assemblies, in technical collaboration with a Malaysian company, for the automobile industry.
The company has over 300 employees. AVT takes pride in providing significant employment to females, which comprise over one third of the work force.
PRODUCTS
Presently AVT is engaged in the manufacture and sale of audio cassettes. While in audio 95% business comprises pre-recorded music, the rest is in blank cassettes. Custom injection moulding parts and sub-assembly for supply to auto makers will commence by 2000.

- AF's super fine ferric crystal particles provide stable output characteristics across the entire frequency spectrum. Ideal for recording from digital sources.
- Sensitivity has been improved by 0.5 dB in medium and high frequency ranges and MOL is increased by 0.5 dB in the high frequency range (compared with normal position reference tape).
- Precision moulding and quality pressure pad ensures uniform tension on tape to maintain high-level azimuth accuracy and optimum frequency response.
- Non-abrasive head cleaning leader tape is used.
